A Party for Our Little Cookie Monster

Cookie Monster Cupcakes!

Faith being cookie monster:)

We had a little birthday celebration for Faith on Saturday with our dear family. It was so much fun to celebrate the gift that our Faith is to us and to celebrate the gift of two years with this precious little girl. It was appropriate for me to make cookie monster cupcakes for how much Faith enjoys cookies:) More on how much Faith is a blessing to us later this week on her birthday. Thank you Lord for Faith!!!

Today is my BIG 30. On this big milestone:) I am seeking to have a thankful, grateful heart about getting older and not an attitude of dread. What a blessing that God would grant me 30 years of life. With each year God's faithfulness and His grace become more apparent to me and my God and Savior more dearer to me. This loving God has saved me through Jesus death on the cross and has saved me from separation from Him forever. THANK YOU LORD!!! What a blessing to turn 30 knowing that, Lord willing, with another year of life I will learn more of my dear Savior and grow more passionate for Him and more in love with Him. My prayer is that my life would sing of His mercies and His grace on this sinner who knows it all so well. Thank you for saving me Lord!

Psalm 98:1 Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things!

On Saturday Damien blessed me with a wonderful surprise party. Thank you, Love. He invited three couples who are amongst my dearest friends and my dear family. What a joy to celebrate with them. Thank you mom and Shelby for all you did to help with the celebration. I continue to be in awe of the way God has blessed me so richly with such deep, loving, sharpening, friends and family. Thank you all for sharing my day with me:)

Thank you Lord for another year of life!

Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us and we are His...Give thanks to Him and bless His name. Psalm 100:3&4

Three Months with our Lydi Bug

Lydia turns three months today. What a blessing this little munchkin is to our family. She is such a content little girl.(besides her 7 pm fussy time:) Emme tells her a lot how glad she is that she came. Faith enjoys kissing her on her head and is very gentle with her. Thank you Lord for three months with this precious little girl:)

This week has been a fun week of getting together with friends and family. On Wednesday the Valentines came over (or as Emme says the Balentines:) The kids had such a fun time playing together and we got to share some lunch with them too. Thanks for your friendships. They are such a treasure to us and your friendships sharpen us and grow us in our love for Jesus.

The girls had a fun time making treats for our guests. They are such a help to me in the kitchen. Glimpses of the fun times to come in the kitchen:)

Then today my sister Shelby came over with my niece, Kate. It was such fun to have them come visit and have some lunch with us too. We love getting to spend time with them. Thanks for spending the afternoon with us:) We love you. Emme and Kate "resting"

Sweet Fellowship

Me, Lydia, Shannon, Evelyn, Faith, Ashlyn,Verity, and Emme

Yesterday we had our dear friends the Eder's over for dinner. We had such a wonderful time of sweet fellowship with them. We are so thankful to the Lord for the deep friendships He has given us and how He uses those friendships to make us more like Him and deepen our love and appreciation for Him. Thank you C.B. and Shannon for your love and encouragement. We had so much fun with you.

While we were talking the girls were having sweet fellowship as well. All six of them. So fun to have six little girls in this house at one time. Lydia and Evelyn (who are a day apart) slept through most of the excitement. As you can see Faithy somewhere along the way lost her clothes:)....At one point during the evening we hear Emme saying, "Let me put your diaper on." Damien got to the top of the stairs to see Faith running down the hallway without any clothes on and Emme chasing after her with a diaper, while Ashlyn was wearing Faith's dress that looked more like a shirt on her. Crazy girls:)
The girls practiced hard all night to put on a concert for us. Right before the concert began we hear Emme saying, "Momma, I have to brush my teeth before the concert so
that they are all clean." Something in me said, "TROUBLE." Damien and C.B. made it just in time. The water was turned on full blast and the sink was just about to overflow as they entered the scene. Thank you for saving the day, Damien and C.B. :) Fun memories. The concert was wonderful:)

Our Drago Family Vacation

We just got back from our annual Drago vacation. We had such a nice time with Gramps, Grandmom, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Erin. We went again to Raystown Lake. Gramps had to break it to Emme that it really actually is not his lake house, but that we borrow it for a little bit. We stay in this really neat house that overlooks Raystown Lake. Isn't the view so beautiful?

Damien got to go on some really nice nature hikes and the girls enjoyed running around outside, playing on the swing set, roasting marshmallows, and riding in their Barbie jeep that
Gramps and Grandmom so generously bought for them. It was wonderful being together as a family just talking, eating meals together, playing games together, and laughing together. Thank you Gramps and Grandmom for the wonderful vacation. You are so kind to us. We loved spending time with you and thank God for you.
