My Little Baker

Emme had a playdate the other day with her friend, Ashy (Thank you Shannon, that was so much fun for Emme:) So Faith and I spent time in the kitchen making some Christmas cookies. It was so much fun! Her job was to remove all the Hershey Kiss wrappers and place them in a container. She excelled at her duty:) Take note of the perfectly placed Hershey Kisses. They all had to be lined up "just so." Then she placed the kisses on top of the dough balls. It was so much fun being in the kitchen with my little helper. She gets excited at any chance to help me cook, bake, clean. It is neat to see God working a joyful servant's heart in our little Faith. And the cookies turned out very good, thanks to my little baker:)

Miss Dawn

Our girls love Miss Dawn and so do we! She loves the Lord and loves to serve him and does so with such joy. She came over the other night donned with "jewels" for our girlies. Emme and Faith were beyond excited with their gifts from a very generous Miss Dawn! (take notice of the earrings:) Thank you, Dawn, for the way you sacrificially serve our family every month by caring for our girlies so we can attend leader's care group. We enjoy those times with you too getting to talk with you before and after care group. You are such a blessing to our family.

Spreading Some Christmas Cheer

The girls and I went with Grammy and Poppy and my niece Kate on Friday for our annual caroling trip. We only had two stops this year, but the girls had such a fun time singing for the two ladies we went to see. It is fun to take the girls into the nursing homes and to see the smiles that the girls bring to the faces of the people there.

The Daddy of Three Daughters

I was waiting for this day:), the day when Emme, Faith, and Lydia would give daddy a makeover with their "make-up." Grammy bought Emme lip gloss the other day and so Emme has been carrying this little purse with her lip gloss in it and has been putting it on over and over again and sharing it very generously with Momma and Faith. Well, last night was the fateful night when she asked daddy if she could put it on him. What a wonderful sport Daddy was. Here is the picture of the two girl and their Papa with their shiny lips.:) Thanks for indulging the girls and having such fun with them, Love.
